Members must also have appropriate professional indemnity insurance and provide personal and professional references before their application can be considered. Please contact the CAI for further information.
The CAI provides a continuing professional development scheme which is also compulsory for members. An annual conference is held each year, and the CAI carries out work to improve awareness of chiropractic in Ireland such as press releases and media campaigns.
The CAI is active in campaigning for chiropractors in Ireland to be regulated under the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005.
